Troubleshooting

Resolve common output, player, clock, publishing and Stream Deck issues.

A graphic is missing or stuck

  • Confirm the correct match is open in both the control room and Browser Source URL.
  • Use Clear in the control room, then fire the graphic again.
  • Refresh the OBS Browser Source if the published version recently changed.
  • Check that the match has the required data: officials, lineups or formation starters.

A player is not available

  • Add the player to the team squad first.
  • Add them to the match Starting XI or Substitutes list.
  • Scorers and card recipients must currently be on the pitch.
  • A player already substituted off or sent off is disabled for later events.

The clock or score is wrong

  • Pause the clock before changing the period or resetting it.
  • Use the score minus and plus buttons for a correction without firing another goal graphic.
  • Starting the clock automatically puts the scoreboard on air.
  • Set and show added time separately; clear it at the end of the period.

The output background is wrong

  • Use Alpha for native transparency, Black for luma keying, or Green for chroma keying.
  • Check that the browser source URL ends with the expected background option.
  • Remove key filters when using Alpha.
  • For an OBS feed into ATEM or TriCaster, key the Green or Black background in the hardware mixer.
  • Test dark club badges and dark team colours carefully when using a luma key.

Stream Deck cannot see matches

  • Check the access key was pasted in full and has not been revoked.
  • Choose Refresh matches in the button settings.
  • The selected account must have access to the match.
  • Choose the match once; it is shared across the ScoreFX buttons.

The published app looks out of date

  • Publish the latest ScoreFX changes before checking the live site.
  • Refresh the web page and the OBS Browser Source after publishing.
  • If OBS still caches the old source, remove and re-add it using the same Browser Source URL.
